The Problem: The family in Salem, MA, had a single-family home with no AC system and oil heating. They supplemented the oil system with a pellet stove but still found themselves in need of a new heating and cooling system.
The Solution: N.E.T.R., Inc. installed a three-zoned ductless heating and cooling AC system that would serve the dining room and two bedrooms. This system replaced the existing heating system and provides pinpoint comfort all year long.

These homeowners had a pellet stove to supplement their oil heat, but they were still struggling to keep their dining room and bedrooms warm. Additionally, the summertime presented the same problem with keeping the rooms cool.
The family started their search for a new HVAC solution by looking online. There, they found N.E.T.R., Inc. and read reviews and case studies about previous jobs in the area. After seeing that we had found heating and cooling solutions for homes just like theirs, they knew we’d be able to meet their needs.
The ductless ACs are built to be installed high on the walls, out of the way, so that they provide the best airflow throughout the room. Jimmy knew that he could get the job done with just three ductless ACs and an outdoor condenser unit.
The new system will offer state-of-the-art heating in the winter and high-quality air conditioning in the winter. Now, instead of running the entire system to try and bring a few rooms up to temperature, they’ll be able to turn up the heat in those rooms alone. Each of the ductless ACs is controlled by a separate thermostat and remote control, which allows it to be set differently from the others in the system. This design means that they can keep the bedroom nice and cozy, but cool off the dining room, without interfering with the rest of the home.
Each of the units will also monitor the humidity in the room and make adjustments. This humidity control allows the units to maximize the owners’ comfort levels even more. Now, the family will never have to endure another muggy day during the summer or suffer from dry air in the winter. Instead, they’ll be able to make adjustments whenever they need it.
