Chip Moeckel was the project manager for this installation. He met with the family and toured the beautiful home to get an idea of where the new Indoor units would need to be installed.
After his initial visit, Chip put together a crew and designed a three-zoned ductless air conditioning system with heating options to replace the old units. The new ductless units would be installed in the kitchen, master bedroom, and the second-floor bedroom to offer cooling relief to the whole home.
Additionally, an outdoor condenser unit and heat pump would be installed outside the home on a concrete pad. The outdoor unit would be out of sight but easy to reach for maintenance and repairs.
The family loved the design that Chip showed them, so the crew got to work right away. First, they had to remove all the old ductless air conditioners that were no longer working. After the units were taken out, they were able to install the New Mitsubishi Electric Ductless HVAC System easily.
Each of the ductless indoor units were mounted on the walls where they would provide optimal airflow throughout the room without interfering with the room’s aesthetic. Thin piping was then run through the walls like electrical wire to connect the indoor Units to the outdoor condenser. This piping serves the same purpose as invasive ductwork on a typical system, without requiring massive renovations to the room.

The new Mitsubishi Electric Ductless HVAC System immediately fixed this family’s heating and cooling problems. After installation, the crew showed the family how to operate the new units with the remotes, which allow them to set the temperature from their couch!
